Switching locations for 2024, Augsburg held their Commencement ceremony at the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis. Tasked with creating the elements that would be displayed on all the digital screens throughout the entire venue, before, during, and after the graduation ceremony, Augsburg's graphic designers (myself and Jessica Hall Burns) designed static and motion graphics to correspond with the event and help bring Augsburg to the Target Center. We created looping motion graphics and videos for before the ceremony to entertain waiting guests and to display Augsburg's history related to graduation along with connecting them to present students with an interactive Tagboard. We used static commencement graphics during the ceremony followed by an animated confetti drop at the end, and finishing out with static Augsburg graphics as attendees exited.
